The prosecution told the court that between October – December 2020 Bagorogoza withdrew 440 million shillings from Turyahikayo’s account, supposedly to give it to Godfrey Rwihunga, the Honourable Turyahikayo’s husband, to buy land at plot 35 Block 18 Nyabikoni ward, Central Division, Kabale Municipality but instead, stole it.
Mutebile, 72, was buried on January 30, at his ancestral home in Muruhita-Rwakatojo Village in Northern Division, Kabale municipality. In a leaked notice dated 20th November addressed to the electoral commission, Niwagaba and his lawyers, M/S Lukwago and Company Advocates, M/S Barirere Muhangi, and Company advocates, Muhangi indicates that he has withdrawn from handling the case. Muhangi did not give details and explanation behind his withdrawal from the case.

During the hearing at Kabale High Court Mutabazi’s lawyer, Akram Matovu asked the court to summon top officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports, National Council for Higher Education to appear before the court to defend the legitimacy of Bizimana’s academic credentials.

The Kabale Chief Magistrate Julius Borore Kyaka has today charged a 42-year-old man and sentenced him to either one year in prison or to pay a fine of one million shillings for holding out as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda which he is not.
Fred Byaruhanga, who claimed to be a lawyer from Ngaruye Ruhindi and Company Advocates, had appeared before Justice Moses Kawumi Kazibwe to present a withdraw letter of a case in which Leading Distillers Uganda Limited had sued the then Kabale Resident District Commissioner, Cox Nyakairu and Kabale District local Government. His luck ran out when he failed to defend his withdraw letter which led the presiding judge, Moses Kazibwe, to ask him to present his credentials.
On February 12, 2018, Bernard Kasangaki and Richard Mugayehwenki dragged the district to court seeking an order to stop the advertisement and appointment of new public servants to the positions they have been holding.
A medical report issued by Nsambya Hospital on May 24th, 2014 shows that Natukunda suffered multiple blunt trauma in the lumbo-sacral region, blunt chest trauma, limbs trauma and acute urinary retention. He uses a trans- urethral catheterization and suffers post- traumatic disorder, which requires psychiatric attention.
Byonanebye sued the duo through his lawyer, Niwagaba Mwebesa Advocates for allegedly torturing him during a peaceful students protest on October 14th 2016. On the said date, Kabale University students led a peaceful procession from their university campus in Kikungiri through Kabale town to the district headquarters.
