The Frenchman Cajot defeated Germanys Jonathan Persson 21-17, 21-11 in the final played at the Lugogo Arena. Cajot had earlier caused a major upset seeing off top seed and Africas top player Georges Julien Paul Mauritius at the quarter final stage and also beat Syrias Aljallad Ahmad 17-21, 22-20, 21-14 at the semi final stage.
