Emmanuel Banya, the Kitgum Municipal Council Town Clerk told URN in an interview on Tuesday that ever since the money was released, it has been idle in the Municipal Council bank account pending procurement of a consultant by Lands Ministry.

Pupils are taught in three mud and wattle structures with no windows and doors.

In the 2015/2016 financial year, government contracted Dida Investment Consult, a road construction firm under the Community Agriculture Infrastructure Improvement Programme-CAIIP to open the 17.6 kilometer Nyakanengo- Kerere- Kaburara road.

Dr Onyachi says that the construction works which are expected to be completed by December are spearheaded by Rakai Health Sciences program (RHSP).
