Leaders in the country are mourning the death of former South African President Nelson Madiba Mandela who passed away last night at his home in Johannesburg. They have described him as a committed freedom fighter and selfless leader.
Uganda Media Centre Executive Director Ofwono Opondo has released a statement on the death of former South African President Nelson Mandela. Mandela died on December 5 at 9pm, South African time. He was at home with his family. He was 95 years old.
