Museveni who has just started the sixth term as the President of Uganda is expected to appoint his new Cabinet soon, for vetting by the Appointments Committee. Before the January 2021 general election, Museveni’s cabinet had a total of 79 Ministers, out of which 29 where Ministers while 50 were State Ministers.
The office of the Speaker has been occupied for the past 10-years by the former Speaker Rebecca Kadaga. However, she lost the seat to her former deputy and Omoro County MP Jacob Oulanyah in a vote held at the beginning of the eleventh parliament last month.
Now, Archbishop Kaziimba says that with the new directive, the Church of Uganda is to continue with televised Services for people to worship from their homes every Sunday. “We have done this before, and we can do this again. In fact, I believe we can do it even better than the first time,” he added.
