Doreen Musiime, the Kampala Central Division Returning Officer said that two presiding officers were arrested by police for altering results from Mengo-Kisenyi I electoral area, during elections held on Monday. Musiime said that alteration affected the outcome of votes from Mengo-Kisenyi I and Bukesa.

The fake witchdoctors are blamed for jeopardizing security, fueling domestic violence cases and sexually abusing married women who seek their help.

According to the official poll results, Ozuma, who ran on the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC ticket, polled 7916 votes defeating the incumbent Deo Mbabazi Tumwesigye, who ran as an independent and garnered 7393 votes.
