The construction of the two storied building started on Monday last week in a space that used to accommodate the old building of over ten offices including the gender, health, environment, planning, education, labour and community development, enforcement and municipal registry.
Following the continuous questions raised by journalists about unattended to roadblocks and extortion of money from drivers and riders allegedly flouting curfew time, Lokech has today tasked Assistant Inspector General of Police –AIGP Edward Osiru Ochom, to investigate the unnecessary or permanent checkpoints and take deserving action.
