Arua hospital Director Dr Filbert Nyeko told the area COVID-19 taskforce today that the hospital has admitted 58 patients over the last three weeks, and lost three of the patients in admission. At the moment, the facility has 13 patients, seven of whom can only be sustained on oxygen.
“And the NRM is very strict on that. Even when mistakes occur, we follow them up. Like for instance during these elections which Bishop Ssemogerere talked about, there were mistakes. The Opposition made mistakes by being violent, by intimidating, attacking people because they are putting on yellow,” said Museveni.
Charles Mukalazi, the Bussi sub-county LC 3 chairperson says that the hippos have caused trouble for people working on the shores of the lake and those on the island. He claims that in the past the hippos have killed over 30 people in the sub-county.
