Elwelu made the remarks during the commissioning of the Jinja based legal training center-LTC on Saturday. The center was constructed through funding of 183 Million Shillings from the Netherlands government.

Upon recovery, the animals were handed over by James Onyanga, the Mayor Morulem Town Council to the owner at the Town Council headquarters.

The animals that were brought on Friday, have today been distributed to livestock owners in Adilang Town Council and Laimuto Town Council, as well as Adilang, Laperebong, Paimol, Lira Kato, Lapono, Omiya Pachwa, Ajali, Kuywee, and Parabongo sub-counties.

Isaac Oware, the UPDF 3rd division spokesperson told URN that Nomuya's body and the firearm were recovered in the bush by area residents.

The group of 101 people that left their homes on Sunday was heading to Ethiopia to join the first team that sneaked out of Uganda in February. Like the first group, the new team had also sold the property to raise money to facilitate their travel and upkeep in Ethiopia.
