Although there is no conclusive research, Mercy Kainobwisho, the Registrar General of URSB, says that the low registration of marriages among Muslims are informed by lack of sufficient knowledge on the matter and myths that mislead people to think that some marriages are not supposed to be registered by the government.
The Archbishops led Christians to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus by observing the Ecumenical Way of the Cross from the residence of Bishop Luwalira and around St. Paul’s Cathedral on Namirembe Hill. This journey is annually commemorated on Good Friday, a day observed during the Holy Week preceding Easter Sunday when Jesus resurrected.

from other religious denominations.
The leaders including the Church of Uganda –COU Archbishop Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga and the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira and others observed the Good Friday ritual at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe.
Kasim Mwasa, the head of Research at Muslim Center for Justice and Law-MCJL, a Ugandan faith-based NGO dedicated to promoting and advancing Justice, Tolerance and Human Rights says that the Act doesn't take into consideration the interests and teachings of Muslims. Mwasa says Succession and specifically, inheritance are acts of worship in the Muslim faith, whose implementation is already stipulated in the Qur'an, the Muslim Supreme law.
