During the hearing, Dr. Sam Ojok, the Dokolo District Health Officer also revealed that in June 2018 the district health department received Shillings 112 million without his notice.

The funds were meant for the tarmacking of a 3.6-kilometre road stretching from Acandyang in Kwera Sub County to Otururao village in Okwongodul Sub County.
Their action stemmed from a recent move by the district leadership to demarcate the land for sale to International Lifeline Fund, a Non-Governmental Organisation implementing small institutional stove programme.
