David Oguttu, the programme Manager for the National Onchocerciasis Elimination programme says enrolling the refugees in mass treatment will help Uganda achieve its policy of eliminating Onchocerciasis.
The Ministry of Health had budgeted for the construction of three health facilities within the city. They include Ongica and Anyomorem Health Centre IIIs and Punuluru HCII in the Lira City West division.
