According to the ordinance codenamed “Prohibition of Child Marriage 2021”, offenders will now face up to six months in jail or a fine of 20 currency points.
The leaders say that the area has hundreds of illegal border entry points which are used by the armed cattle rustlers both from Kenya, South Sudan, and within to gain access in and out of the area.
