According to Tibemanya, four people succumbed to various illnesses at the hospital in 2018 without any of their relatives appearing by their sickbeds. Their remains were buried in Gulu Municipal Public Cemetery.
Police says preliminary findings indicate that the fire was sparked off by an electric short circuit in one of the affected premises. This is the sixth time that fire is affecting traders in Elegu border point over the past three years.
