The group led by Anthony Akol, the Kilak North Legislator and Chairperson Acholi Parliamentary Group-APG had intended to visit areas in Apaa that were reportedly attacked early this week by unknown men suspected to be from Adjumani district.
Stephen Odong Latek, the Amuru Resident District Commissioner said that they have communicated to the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) to establish the legality of the South Sudanese presence in the area and possible transfer to a refugee settlement.
