On Wednesday, Fred Enanga, the Police spokesperson apologized and withdrew the police’s earlier statement which indicated that Ssebulime was shot dead for allegedly planning to assassinate Nantaba.
The ministry closed up to 150 homes in a four-month exercise that began in September 2018. The exercise was as a result of a Cabinet decision that called for the closure of all illegal homes on grounds that some of them were used to traffic children out of the country.
The deceased was identified as Ivan Ahimbisibwe, 24. Ahimbisibwe was part of the workers constructing UNHCR offices in Palabek Kal Sub County, Lamwo district.
