The proposal comes at the height of great suspicion by the Buganda Kingdom over a proposal by the central government to cause reforms in the land administration regimes, including but not limited to abolition of Mailo land tenure system, which is most prevalent in Buganda.
The affected persons are mainly pastoralists and peasant farmers occupying more than three square miles of land in Kasange-Kigga village, Kiteredde, Musajja, Muddu, Komoni, Biriinzi, Lutukuma, and Kigo.
The survey sampled 3884 students across the colleges in the university. In the study conducted on July 2021, students had to choose from online examinations, take-home assessments and physical examinations.
The government hospital located in Olami cell, Ikwera ward in Aduku Town Council, was established as a dispensary in the early 1940s with only a general ward and an OPD structure, however from the time of its construction, the district has not put up another ward citing financial burdens.
