Justice Emokor sentenced Ahimbisiwe to 40 years on four counts of murder, 15 years on the count of arson, and two years on the account of assaults. Justice Emokor however deducted one year and eight months Ahimbisibwe had spent on remand from each sentence. According to Emokor, the convict will serve both sentences concurrently ( will serve 40 years) instead of 170 (all summed up).
On Tuesday, the suspect reportedly received a partial payment of 125,000 Shillings as part of the bribe to begin the process of closing the file. He was immediately summoned to the Inspectorate to record a statement but he remained adamant.
