Anthony Asiimwe, the Vice President of ULS, speaking at the public engagement on Thursday, said that there are individuals in the military courts who are not visible and have no legal representation. He said that ULS shall take the lead in offering legal representation.
The meeting comes at time when uganda is not only challenged with the refuge influx but also significant labor migration challenges, mainly through irregular mechanism like Ugandans seeking employment abroad, especially in the Middle East, where they are exposed to exploitation and forced labor.
