The 4,302 trained community monitor volunteers were drawn from five districts as follows: Kiruhura 666, Mbarara 738, Ntungamo 1,152, Ibanda 648 and Isingiro 1,098.
Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi Region Police Spokesperson, says neighbors found Kadiidi’s torso lying in a pool of blood. According to Kasasira, preliminary police investigations show that Kadiidi met his brutal death on Wednesday night, a day after Asiimwe was released on police bond.
