Jaram Magyezi Director of the Leadership Court Tribunal, said that the slow response is a worrying trend stating that most Political leaders tend to declare their assets on the last day, which is not secure. He says the declaration exercise which runs from the 1st to the 31st of March 2025 is a mandatory requirement for all leaders to declare their assets, incomes, and liabilities.
The residents have always suffered severe flooding whenever it rains heavily because the water flows from the mountain downwards. However, the community recounts that the situation has been made worse because of the ongoing works on the Muyembe—Nakapiripirit road, which blocked the drainage system.
