Professor Jojoba explains that Makerere College of Health Sciences is ranked second in Africa and number 250 globally whose integrity in producing quality medical practioners remains unrivalled. He says there is need for more dialogue with the Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council to harmonise their differences.
According to Robert Kalumba the Deputy Spokesperson of KCCA, the enforcement officers have been given more training in client care and continued to monitor them to ensure compliance. He says that they have also stoped them from chasing after people and bundling them on KCCA trucks.
He however says they have continued with law enforcement to maintain order in the City.
On Tuesday, Justice Ssekaana declined to step down from the matter in his ruling read by the Deputy Civil Division Registrar, Sarah Langa, arguing that he took oath to be independent, saying no one can influence his decisions.
