The contention forced residents led by Michael Enyangu Etadu, Robert Onanyang, Stephen Erienyu, Patrick Ejelu and Brian Omoding to seek legal redress after it emerged that some politicians had intentionally altered the boundaries to serve their political interests.
Julius Arugu, the Project Officer at Public Affairs Centre- PAC Uganda, says he is not seeing the scientific elections working, and wonders how the majority of people especially in the villages will be able to make informed decisions when they don’t have access to internet, electricity, computers, radio stations or Televisions that should relay information from candidates.
