The sub-county chairpersons have said that they failed to mobilize all their councillors to attend the function because they received late communication about the day's activities and could not secure transport on time.
The LC V Chairperson, Alex Mabiriizi had forwarded his name and that of Beatrice Keyijesha, the Lwajje Sub-county LC V councillor for appointment to the District Service Commission. However, councillors have rejected the move, saying they can only approve the two if they resign from their current positions.

The Buvuma District LC V Chairperson, Alex Mabirizi, acknowledged the problem of absenteeism. He explained that the workers are expected to work full time but most of them report for work on Tuesday and leave by Thursday, which is affecting service delivery.
