Col Mawa says that FAGIYA Uchafu agents in Mpondwe-Customs suspected the vehicle as it was being driven towards the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Samuel Wanyaka who had an arrest warrant order hanging around his neck, voluntarily appeared before Chief Magistrate Sarah Langa Siu and denied the three corruption charges of embezzlement, abuse of office and false accounting.
His troubles stem from the release of two suspects who were arrested on 2nd June, 2014 for buying 126 mosquito nets supplied by government to the locals. The two; Innocent Halera and Juliet Nyirabakunzi all residents of Bunagana in Kisoro District, were arrested with Mosquito Nets which had been distributed to the locals.
