According to the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire Police has preferred charges of attempted murder against Seiko before granting him Police Bond
Luke Owoyesigire, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, says the incident happened around 9:00am this morning near Gelop Pump Fuel Station.
Locals told Uganda Radio Network (URN) that they heard a loud bang followed by ablaze that engulfed the entire structure that housed the cylinders. The explosion happened minutes to 9:30PM in the premises belonging to the LC I Chairperson, Ismail Bukenya Musisi.
Nathan Turyatunga, a fish dealer from Irimya in Ibanda Sub County, said his life deteriorated after his motorcycle was impounded because he could no longer pay school fees for his children. He has vowed to stay away from illegal fishing practices after regaining his impounded motorcycle.
Police officers, according to Omoding, spend transport that is more than their savings worth because they want to possess in their own hands. Depending on an officer’s monthly earnings, money is deducted and deposited to Exodus SACCO accounts. That money is supposed to cater for officers’ future needs and emergencies.
