Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson Martial Tumusiime says Kushemererwa was arrested after a complaint by the father of the victim who reported a case at Bushenyi Central Police station.
Speaking to URN in an interview, Atine said that he had learnt with shock that Ojambo had illegally disposed of the timber prompting him to file a formal complaint with Adjumani Resident State Attorney.
According to preliminary police findings, the suspect had reportedly committed the offence several times at his residence in the school staff quarters where has been living with the victim. Agnes Anyu, the Terego District Police Commander, says that they have charged the suspect rape, defilement and torture.
