According to Oola, thugs placed them at gunpoint and ordered them to hand over all the keys including the one for the store where he had kept the money. He explains that after robbing him, the thugs locked them inside the house and fled the scene.
The fire believed to have been set by unknown people was first reported to the local authorities on Friday 10th. It escalated until Sunday evening when the Police Fire and Rescue Service team rushed to help put it out.
They allegedly waylaid Geoffrey Osborn Oceng at 10 pm on Sunday from Okwera –weki Trading Centre in Amuru Sub –County while he was enforcing the presidential guidelines to curb the spread of COVID -19. They reportedly smashed the windscreen of Oceng’s vehicle with stones and fled.
