Information obtained by URN shows that most of the borrowers were expected to receive their motorcycles on Monday (October 4, 2021) but surprisingly, the offices at Pamba were closed over the weekend. The furious borrowers, who had travelled to Soroti to receive their motorcycles later stormed the office of the Resident City Commissioner, Peter Pex Paak, seeking his intervention into the matter.
Denis Echiku, a resident of Katine Sub County was arrested by the police after a tip-off from patients. Echiku has been camping at Ward 1 and extorting money from unsuspecting patients who need x-ray services.

The trio appeared on Tuesday evening before the Soroti Grade one magistrate, Fortune Nyipir after following the sanctioning of their file by the State Attorney. Nyapir charged the trio with the offence of receiving stolen property contrary to section 314 of the Penal Code Act.

Peter Ekellot, a friend who rushed to the scene of the accident, says that Abura and Ogiraileng are UPDF soldiers attached to Magoro in Katakwi district.
