The survivor, a resident of Okwamwar Village in Palam Sub County was attacked on the morning of August 11, 2023, while his parents were away in the Ocorimongin weekly market. He was later found in a pool of blood and taken to hospital for medical attention.
His arrest followed the discovery of the decomposing body of the minor in a swamp in Aketa Village. Preliminary findings indicate that the minor was picked up from their home in Akwamoru Village on the night of Thursday, October 6, 2022.
