Muhammad Musisi, the General Secretary, new Agenda Traders Development Association, said several vendors are struggling to rebuild their lives following the fire incidents that left them with nothing.
The Minister for Security Henry Tumukunde has called for more funding to support the countrys intelligence agencies. Tumukunde, who once headed the internal security organisation, says that without intelligence, security organisations can only do a postmortem on a crisis but not curbing the exact problem.
Jennifer Musisi, the KCCA Executive Director, says rail transport has helped in decongesting the city as over 3000 passengers use it daily. She however, says their plans to expand rail transport to other routes have set back due to funding gaps.
