Wilson Oyat Chagga, the FDC Parliamentary contestant for Gulu City West Division seat says their preparation to host Amuriat is within the laws of the country and any intimidations by the police won't stand on their way.
He was picked up from Luuka district headquarters where he was addressing a mini-rally by a team of police officers led by Frank Mwesigwa, the Busoga and Bukedi Zonal commander overseeing the 2021 general elections.
Police patrol trucks led Amuriat towards Jinja-Iganga-Tirinyi highway where he held mini-meetings in Bugembe and Wairaka affecting the smooth flow of traffic. Police also used teargas as many more people came to cheer Amuriat.
