Semakadde was picked up by four plain-clothed detectives from Twed Towers shortly after the hearing of their application seeking to compel the government to include lawyers on the list of essential service providers, on Thursday afternoon.
On Tuesday, Senior Prosecutor Nelly Asiku asked the High Court Criminal Division, Judge Jane Francis Aboddo to drop the application on grounds that it was filed in error.
Isiko was initially sentenced to two years in prison for cyber harassment and offensive communication. But he challenged the sentence by the Buganda Road Grade one Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu saying that she erred in law when she changed his plea of not guilty to a guilty plea.
