Denis Ocepa, 30, a trader at Te-Atat Market in Lira town was shot dead by police personnel on patrol at around 1:30 am on Saturday while returning from a night disco. Police has admitted killing the deceased and apologized over the incident. Manshur Suwed, the Central North regional police spokesperson, says the deceased was erroneously shot near Shell Kwania, along Kwania road.
