The Nakasongola District LC 5 Chairman Lt Sam Kigula and Chief Administrative Officer Chief Administrative Officer Robert Abenaitwe said the incident was regrettable and they were handling it administratively before declining to divulge into the incident.
George Okot, one of the suspects accused of his involvement in the removal of three metallic doors at Boma Ground pleaded guilty and opted for plea bargaining. He was accordingly sentenced to 30 months imprisonment with an option of a fine of 500, 000 Shillings.
