Albertine region police spokesperson Julius Hakiza says that Nyakumbe was lynched to death by angry residents on Tuesday, a day after the death of a 59-year-old resident of the same area, who succumbed to suspected poisoning. His family suspected Nyakumbe was involved in a plot that ended his life.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region police spokesperson, says the suspects who also drivers attached to the company ganged up against Otieno accusing him of reporting them to their Chinese bosses for siphoning fuel from Company vehicles.
