According to Agaba’s lawyers, any right-thinking person would think that the statement by Ofwono Opondo meant that their client is impersonating the Director of Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board or holds out as the same which is false.
The meeting, which would have been a follow-up to the Kigali meeting of September 16, was supposed to take place after 30 days – on October 16, 2019, but the date passed quietly. Now that the November date has been canceled, it leaves everything uncertain as to when both countries would meet.

The development follows severe dry conditions at the start of the 2019 March-May season, preceded by the harsh dry season of January-February 2019 and poor October-December 2018 spots of rain, which have impacted planting and germination of crops in several areas of the country.
