The accident happened on Friday morning at Kumi- Apata near Kumi Municipality. It involved a Fuso Lorry registration number UBE 489W, Mitsubishi white in colour which was carrying livestock, rammed into a stationary trailer, UAQ 925N/UAL 834X.
The deceased’s family was stranded at Gulu Main Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday afternoon when their pleas to the Deputy Chief Justice through his driver to cover the burial expenses failed to yield results.
The incident which occurred around 6 am at Wampiiti village, Kakoge Sub County in Nakasongola district on Thursday claimed the life of Agnes Nantunzi, a data manager at the Ministry of health.
