Most of the roads that have been earmarked for construction for diversion of the traffic are situated in Kisenyi and Old Kampala. KCCA Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi today toured the roads that are being constructed. Musisi says many other roads will be constructed in all city divisions to reduce traffic on the main streets and roads.
The Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA Executive Director, Jeniffer Musisi has asked Kampala Minister, Beti Kamya to rescind Authoritys resolution of reducing property rates from 6 to 4 percent. Musisi in a letter dated 5th July 2018, argued that the councillors resolution was unlawful and untenable.

Musisi last attended KCCA council on July 13 when it discussed Lord Mayors salary arrears. This particular sitting was snubbed by Lukwago protesting Musisis affidavit in court saying KCCA would not pay the Lord Mayors salary arrears amounting to 560 million Shillings. The proposal was initiated by Central Division mayor Charles Sserunjogi arguing that it will save money and improve efficiency.
According to the local government rating act, 2005 which guides the valuation process, the court is supposed to complete its proceedings within six months after receiving complaints. KCCA has already received over 240 complaints from the property owners in central division.
