The president’s message was delivered by the vice President Jesca Alupo to thousands of mourners who had gathered at the deceased’s ancestral home at Gayaza cell, Pacwa town council in Kagadi district during his send off on Friday.
The donation was handed over to the Bishop of Hoima Diocese, Vincent Kirabo, by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja at her office in Kampala. Nabbanja emphasized that the president recognizes the importance of the conference and noted that the funds will facilitate various activities and cover other expenses for the event.

Kiira Municipality MP Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda took to the floor and questioned why Nabbanja came to Parliament late and yet she is supposed to listen and answer to the concerns of the MPs.
According to the Parliamentary directory, Nabbanja studied from St Edward SS Bukuumi for both Ordinary and Advanced level and attained a Diploma in Democracy and Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi in 1998. She attained a Bachelor's Degree in the same field in 2010 before returning to Nkozi later for a Masters' Degree in Democracy and Development Studies.

URN has learnt that two of the nominees; Robinah Nabbanja, the designate Minister of State for Health and Jackson Kafuuzi-the designate Deputy Attorney General had their approval deferred to allow further consultations on their qualifications.
