In a letter dated April 26, 2024, CAO Asaba informs Nabaasa that she is prohibited from executing her powers and functions as town clerk until further notice.
In the same letter, a copy of which Uganda Radio Network [URN] has obtained, the Luwero town council Principal Township Officer is prohibited from leaving Uganda without express permission or authority from the CAO.
Gulu University Secretary David Obol Otori, in a December 8 interdiction letter seen by Uganda Radio Network notes that different documents among them academic documents, National Identity Cards, and employment identity cards belonging to Dr. Shadat bear different names.

Sylvester Tumukurate, the Acting Mitooma District LC V Chairperson, says the committee will investigate among other issues the alleged removal of the town engineer as a signatory on the road funds account, the double receipt of funds disbursed, failure to pay Ex-gratia to local council one chairpersons and provide accountability for the 2017/18 financial year.
