According to Nakazzi, prior to its elevation to a municipality, Nansana used to receive Shillings 1 billion from the Uganda Road Fund. She said the money was increased to Shillings 1.5 billion when Nansana was elevated to a municipality, which says is too little since they have to share it with the four divisions.
