After five years in the court, Justice Stephen Mubiru, the Resident Gulu High Court Judge issued a permanent injunction on May 9, 2019, restraining the vendors and their agents from interfering with Ojok's property rights.
Edward Kiwanuka, the Town Clerk disclosed that the each of the four Divisions will be assigned a Truck to ease garbage management while one of the four Trucks will be reserved to serve public institutions like hospitals and schools among others.
