Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson told Uganda Radio Network on Tuesday that after a case of abduction was reported at the Hoima city central police station, they dispatched a team of flying squad operatives that started tracking the suspects.
Mary Goretti Kitutu, the State Minister for Karamoja Affairs who is in the region to monitor the Dryland Integrated Development Project under the Office of the Prime Minister said the abduction reflects the inhumane behaviour of the warriors. She described the abduction as provocative to the government.
