The Inspector General of Government IGG Irene Mulyagonja has dropped investigations into a case in which Makerere University allegedly promoted one of its staff irregularly.
Makerere University lecturers on Friday called off the month-long strike, a month after they laid down tools demanding for a pay rise and clearance of their savings worth 16 billion shillings from the National Insurance Cooperation.
