The gullies have formed along the Corner Pageya-Kidere-Atoo Hill-Omel road following torrential rains that also washed away several culverts along with Larwodo and Layiebit Bridges. Vincent Ouma, the Omel Sub-County Chairperson told URN that the broken culverts and deadly gullies have since become a threat to the lives of motorists and other road users.
The officers; Corporal Andrew Mulyamboga, the Officer-in-charge of Paicho Police Station and his associate Detective Corporal Menya had responded to a reported robbery of a motor vehicle belonging to Moses Kato, a lawyer and resident of East Division in Gulu City.
