Scheduled for 2025, the competition will involve 12 secondary schools from six selected districts across Uganda. These districts—Kitgum, Omoro, Terego, Yumbe, Kyegegwa, and Amudat—have been identified as vulnerable to human trafficking due to their proximity to borders or their status as hosts for refugees.
Lamwaka was reportedly struck on the neck and succumbed to her injuries upon arrival at Yotkom Medical Center where she had been rushed for medical treatment.
