Fred Ngabirano, the Commissioner of Youth and Children Affairs in the Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development says they have found that most children who are abused come from families riddled with domestic violence.
Allan Aboce, the Kwania District Youth Livelihood Focal Point Person attributes the poor performance of the program to poor enterprise selection, lack of training on financial literacy, and selfishness.
Moses Opio, the Kwania District Probation Officer blames the rising cases on Gender-Based Violence in the community. The Sub County has registered over 137 cases of Gender-Based Violence within a space of two months, mostly in Amorigoga and Abany parishes.
