Last week when a truck registration number UAT 031L, loaded with 369 bags of charcoal, was impounded in Orom sub-county. The truck was initially directed to the 505 Brigades in Pajimo before being taken to Lira.
On Friday, over 10 members of Parliament on the Public Accounts Committee visited Masaka main taxi park to investigate the effect of the wrangles. The MPS led by Jack Sabiiti, the PAC chairperson recorded statements from a number of drivers and traders about the state of the taxi park.
