"Given their past actions as confirmed by International Court of Justice, the entry into and remaining in the Democratic Republic of Congo is likely to be used by UPDF officers and commanders to loot for their personal benefit after which the burden will be sent to Uganda Citizens", reads the application in part.
Brig. Flavia Byekwaso the UPDF spokesperson has said that so far a UPDF officer at the rank of Major attached to CMI has been interrogated over the incident.
The probe, according to Brig Byekwaso, is intended to establish if any of their personnel deployed that day was responsible for the killing of innocent people.
